Benelli Imperiale 400 Bookings Officially Begin in India @ INR 4,000

Benelli has officially commenced the pre-bookings of the much-awaited Imperiale 400 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is expected to be launched in India on October 20, 2019, and one can expect the brand to price it competitively at a price tag of around INR 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Imperiale 400 would be available in the market in Red, Black, and Chrome colour options while the customers will be offered a three-year unlimited kilometres warranty with every purchase of the Imperiale cruiser. Benelli has also listed the motorcycle on its official Indian website.

The customers can pre-book the motorcycle at every authorized Benelli dealership in India as well as through the brand’s official website at a token amount of INR 4,000. The deliveries of the motorcycle are expected to be scheduled after Diwali 2019.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 looks uber cool with almost nothing to complain in terms of exterior design. Every part stays true to the other one, combining together to form an elegant cruiser motorcycle. The fuel tank lacks any significant curve and flows perfectly into the two-piece seat.

Both the seats look decently padded while the design of the front and rear fenders further improve its classic machine looks. The motorcycle features a dual-pod analogue-digital instrument console with a small digital display on the left side.

A retro round headlight, orange cup indicators, spoked wheels, and standard telescopic forks make the fact sure that the motorcycle will look unique and commanding on the road. Apart from the Royal Enfield Classic series, the Imperiale 400 will compete with the likes of the new Jawa motorcycles.

As the Indian government will implement the new emission norms on April 1, 2020, the Benelli Imperiale 400 will come equipped with a BS6-compliant 373.5cc single-cylinder engine, which will be further mated to a 5-speed transmission.

We don’t have the exact power and torque figures of the India-spec BS6 model with us but, to give you an idea, the international-spec model is capable of churning out a maximum power of 20HP and an utmost torque of 28Nm. In comparison, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc single-cylinder engine that is good for 19.8HP of power and 28Nm of torque.
