Even after getting healthy additions in their numbers, most bikes faced tough competition from segment leaders. Bajaj Pulsar is the highest selling sportbike brand with 71,593 units in June 2018. The number is big in comparison to every other product, even when equating with TVS Apache, that stood second with 42,863 units. Honda CB Unicorn 150 is a commute-friendly bestseller with 23,271 units for the 30-day period. Yamaha FZ stood fourth with 17,196 units, leaving other street fighters behind by an enormous margin. Yamaha R15 saw an increase in June 2018 number, getting 7847 buyers and leaving Honda CB Hornet (5773 units) behind by a big margin. Suzuki Gixxer registered 5359 units for the eighth spot. It may feel lame on paper but, Yamaha SZ-RR scored 4100 units and pushed Bajaj V15 (2891 units) to the tenth position. Apart from these first 10 bikes, 200cc KTM series scored 2830 units whereas Bajaj Avenger got 2780 units for 180cc and 2683 units for the 220cc model. Yamaha FZ25 was another great with 2088 units in June 2018, scoring a decent position for its price tag. The decline in number for certain products was balanced by the higher selling siblings. Honda CBR250R was good for just 401 units while KTM 250 Duke got 601 buyers in June 2018.
