Best-Selling 600cc-1000cc Bikes in India: Those opting for bikes between 600-1000cc would love to know that the majority of brands have posted positive sales, leading to a healthier market trend for superbikes in India than the previous year. The SuperSport category of motorcycles performed the worst in this segment, leaving the baton in hands relaxed riding partners.
Harley Davidson Street 750, as always, stood first with 137 units in June 2018. For off-beat comparison, the number is higher than the figure posted by UM Sports S, which seems inspired from the Harley cruiser up to some extent. The second slot goes to Harley Street Rod, registering 66 units in 30 days.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 was good for 43 units, leaving Z650, Vulcan S and Versys 650 unsold during the entire month. The same scenario is witnessed by Ninja 1000, leaving Z1000 unsold and itself registering 38 units in June 2018.
Triumph Street Twin is the most comfortable motorcycle that one can buy under INR 10 lakh, getting itself the fifth place with 35 units. The 900cc, twin-cylinder motor facilitates everyday riding like a premium, butter-smooth commuter. The sixth slot is shared by two arch-rivals, Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple, both registering 34 units each. These two are the uncrowned street-fighter kings.
Honda CBR650F got the tenth position with 11 units in June 2018. Apart from these ten, Suzuki GSX-S750 lost the battle by 1 unit, listing 10 units in sale during this period. Honda Africa Twin registered 2 units and, the only SuperSport motorcycle to get a buyer in June 2018 was Suzuki GSX-R1000. It comes with a sticker price of INR 19 lakh.
