Top 5 Best-Selling 2-Wheeler Brands (June 2018): Indian motorcycle manufacturers reported impressive numbers for June 2018, some of them even breaking their personal records that were set in the same month last year.
As always, Hero MotoCorp remained at the top of this list, registering 7,04,562 units in those 30 days. What’s even more interesting, the numbers mentioned here are including the export business of these respective brands.
This is clean 13% increase from the number posted in June 2017. Honda followed close for the second spot with 5,71,020 units as both brands are locking horns in a commuter-centric market for a long time.
Hero MotoCorp is the king of motorcycles while Honda claims the same title for scooter sales in India. The third position in terms of total sales goes to Bajaj Auto, bringing us a total of 3,37,752 units in June 2018. They have the highest number of exports among all brands listed here.
TVS Motor was fourth here with 3,01,201 units. When seen in terms of domestic sales, both these brands interchange places with each other. Royal Enfield has worked hard and all that resulted in a fifth position with 74,477 units in June 2018. The number is increasing at an impressive pace.
All these brands have registered a positive sales number in the first quarter of 2018. Not just that, they have been introducing new products to improve user engagement and handling various events and offers to keep the interests high at all times.
