Top 10 Best-Selling 2-Wheelers (June 2019): Hero and Honda are two brands that always have a direct rivalry with each other in terms of two-wheeler sales. This war continues between the Splendor and the Activa, both of which are the highest sellers in their respective segments. These two products have regularly switched places at the top and this time for June 2019, they have a gap of mere 6,004 units between them.
Compared to the last year, where Honda Activa was leading the sales chart at the 1st position, this time the popular scooter has been dethroned by the Hero Splendor, who took the crown with a total of 2,42,743 units in June 2019. The Honda’s best-seller, Activa can be spotted at the second position with a total sales number of 2,36,739 units.

Like last year in June, Hero HF Deluxe maintains its third position this time as well, but it has improved its sales figure by registering 1,93,194 units as compared to 1,82,883 units in June 2018. The fourth place was grabbed by Honda CB Shine which registered sales of 84,871 units last month.
Bajaj Pulsar series marked the fifth position in the top 10 list with a sales figure of 83,008 units. Hero Glamour got the 6th position with 69,878 units while the Bajaj Platina with 56,947 units takes the seventh place in the list of top 10 best-selling 2-wheelers in India. The Platina along with the CT100 and Discover has played a vital role in driving Bajaj Auto’s strong performance in FY2019.

The eighth-place was grabbed by TVS Jupiter, which is the second best selling scooter in India after the Honda Activa. In June 2019, the scooter was able to register a sales figure of 56,254 units. The company must be feeling happy as they have been able to sell the scooter in good numbers, despite the downfall in the market.
The ninth place was occupied by the Hero Passion motorcycle with 56,143 units, which is less than the 69,663 units sold in May 2019. The 10th position in the list was grabbed by TVS XL Super moped which is on sale in India from over a decade and it remains the most affordable form of two-wheelers in the country. It registered a sales figure of 52,253 in the month of June 2019.
