Top 10 Best-Selling 250cc-500cc Bikes (Sales Report): The 250cc-500cc segment is still under the influence of Royal Enfield as the sales figures posted here point directly to their lineup when considering the bestsellers. RE Classic is the most selling model with 35,884 units on the list while Bullet was good for 15,047 units. The Thunderbird series stood third with 5,079 units while the special entry to the list came in the form of Bajaj Dominar 400 with 1,346 units in April 2019. The motorcycle made a comeback after the first generation model’s unsuccessful journey.
The Dominar now comes with USD forks and much more, beating even the RE Himalayan with a decent gap. The fifth place belonged to the Himalayan with 1,113 units. Yamaha FZ25 and Fazer 25 were good for 989 units combined while the KTM 250 Duke was good for 699 units. The KTM 390 series posted 507 units while Apache RR310 was good for 183 units in April 2019. The numbers are very small in comparison to the first few products. Honda CBR250R is the last product on the list with 161 units.
The remaining motorcycles under this segment are Kawasaki Ninja 300, Versys 300, and Ninja 400, and the Yamaha YZF-R3. The UM Renegade and Mahindra Mojo are two products with zero number of units on the sales chart. The 250cc-500cc segment witnessed a downfall in overall sales as a huge number was dropped from the RE lineup in recent months.
