BMW Motorrad is all set to launch the G310RR fully-faired sports bike in the Indian markets tomorrow (July 15, 2022). Ahead of the official launch, an Instagram account (@iamabikerdotcom) has posted a video revealing the upcoming 300cc-segment bike from almost all angles. As we have reported earlier, BMW G310RR is basically the rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310 with new colour options and some minor changes here and there. Here is the leaked video:

BMW G310RR will be powered by the same 312.2cc liquid-cooled reverse inclined single-cylinder engine which is paired to a 6-speed transmission. It has a maximum power output of 34 HP at 9,700rpm and a max torque output of 27.3 Nm at 7,700rpm.
In contrast to the Apache RR310, which features Michelin Road 5 tyres, BMW has chosen Michelin Pilot Sport rubber for the G310RR. Another distinction is the use of conventional disc brakes on the BMW G310RR as opposed to petal discs on the TVS Apache RR310.
If we talk about the instrument cluster, it is the same as on the Apache RR 310, but with BMW Motorrad graphics. Pre-orders for the BMW G310RR have already begun on a completely new website dedicated solely to the G310RR from BMW.
Following the design language of the S1000RR superbike, the upcoming BMW G310RR will compete with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha YZF-R3, Benelli 302R, and the KTM RC 390. In terms of pricing, the fully-faired sports bike will be placed in between the G310R and the G310GS, at around Rs 2.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).
