BMW Motorrad has entered India with a long list of products on offer. The Pune dealership is now operational and Bavaria Motors has been selected as a proud partner to sell and service BMW bikes in Pune. The 2017 range for India currently has 24 products while it starts at a really attractive price of INR 14.9 lakh for the BMW R1200R.
Flagship product from BMW has been priced at 28.5 lakh (K1600 GTL PRO). All the prices given here are ex-showroom while they have not launched the much awaited G310R with all others. These products will be brought as CBU’s while G310R and G310GS will come through local production in the 2nd half of this year.

BMW Motorrad Opens Dealership in Pune
The current number of products include the multiple variants being available for every base model. This makes BMW’s new range good for R1200 GS, R1200 GSA, S1000 RR, S1000 R, R1200 R, R Nine T, R1200 RS, S1000 XR, R1200 RT and K1600 GTL. The basic variant differentiation makes them good for Standard, Dynamic Plus, Exclusive and Pro. BMW R1200 R Standard can be bought for INR 14.9 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
The range goes upto K1600 GTL Pro that comes at INR 28.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The product prices are now very close to the products in the Ducati lineup, which will act as the closest rival to the German motorcycle manufacturer. BMW G310R, the most awaited product in the lineup, would launch at a later stage due to production constraints. It is currently being exported to the international market from TVS manufacturing facility in Hosur.
