2 New BMW Bikes Launched @ India Bike Week 2017

2 New BMW Bikes Launched in India: MW Motorrad has recently launched the K1600B and R nine T Racer in India for INR 29,00,000 and INR 17,30,000 respectively. Those who are big BMW fans, these two are specific editions of already existing products in the company lineup.

The former belongs to the same flagship tourer lineup but loses its rear full sized seat for a support-less pillion ride. Bagger style rear ends bring the B moniker in its name. Actually, it will save some space and money for those who are not into ultra long distance touring. Pillion seat on other variants under the K1600 range is highly loaded with features.

BMW R Nine T Racer is a cafe racer based on the same series scrambler, carrying additional fairing for that iconic 1950’s racing design. Cost cutting is visible here too as the aluminum tank is now swapped with a steel one while USD forks also gets replaced with conventional units.

BMW K1600 B is powered by a 1649 cc, six cylinder engine producing 160 HP at 7750 rpm and 175 Nm at 5250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It carries a huge fuel tank and claims 200+ kmph of top speed for high speed long distance riding.

BMW R nine T Racer comes equipped with a 1170 cc, big block twin cylinder engine producing 110 HP at 7550 rpm and 116 Nm at 6000 rpm. The cowl helps the rider achieve higher speed with much ease while BMW specific sticker job makes the motorcycle look more exciting than ever.

Unlike the off-road friendly dynamics of standard R nine T, this one comes with alloy wheels and race spec standard tread tyres. BMW currently retails just the liter class and above motorcycling range in India. This makes them exclusive among others while all products are offered through the CBU route.
