New BMW S1000RR Superbike to Launch in India on June 27

New BMW S1000RR is all set to launch in India on June 27, 2019. The motorcycle is available with class-leading technology, lightweight body, and power that can bring a big smile on the rider’s face. The biggest visual change to the motorcycle’s design is the front slim LED headlamps, replacing the old asymmetrical units from the 2018 variant.

The aluminium chassis is great and overall body dimensions can be called sleek for sure with the 2019 year update. The motorcycle features a coloured TFT instrument console with navigation and Bluetooth support. The safety features include BMW Motorrad Race ABS, dynamic traction control, and hill start assist.

It feels more like the track-spec HP4 race with its updated design while performance part brings 207 HP in the standard tune. The maximum torque is 113 Nm, out of which more than 100 Nm is available from 5,500 rpm. The peak value is achieved at 11,000 rpm for the torque and 13,500 rpm for the power.

New BMW S1000RR comes with a top speed of 299 kph, electronically limited like most other litre-class motorcycles with standard configurations. BMW ShiftCam technology and titanium valves for the engine further help the motorcycle stay efficient at high rpm levels.

BMW claims 15.6 kmpl of mileage for the motorcycle though achieving this value may not be possible on the track at all. 2019 BMW S1000RR comes with 45mm USD front forks, 1441mm of compact wheelbase and 190/55-ZR17 rear tire.

The braking duties are handled by 320mm dual discs at the front and 220mm single disc at the rear. The motorcycle measures 2073mm in length, 848mm in width and 1151mm in height. The standard weight tips the scale at 197 kg while those buying the M Package will get the motorcycle with a lowered 193.5kg of wet weight.
