CFMoto 650MT has been spotted testing in India with complete camouflage on its body. The motorcycle is the second one from the Chinese brand to be seen in India as the first one was none other than 250NK with streetfighter dynamics and completely hidden body panels under the camouflage. Still, the frame position and other details for both the bikes are clear as just paint options and minor details are missed here. CFMoto 650MT comes with an adventure-tourer design language, featuring engine and fairing protector mounted to the frame on the test model like the one seen in its home market.
The first visible detail is the extra-long visor on the semi-faired body while one can also notice dual front disc brakes, black alloy wheels, USD forks and stubby exhaust with almost underbelly existence. The rear is seen without the panniers while missing mudguard also means that could be an optional accessory for the buyers. CFMoto 650MT comes with a monoshock rear suspension and comfortable seats with enough padding for all-day-long riding. The front seat is lower than usual and thus, the benefits of easy foot placement and occasional backrest is available for the rider at all times.
The rider’s position in the camouflaged image clears that fact that the raised handlebar position and the high-placed windscreen is very practical for the highway riding purpose. The 650MT weighs 213 kg and comes with an 18-litre fuel carrying capacity as standard. The ground clearance is decent at 170mm. As the trend of bringing middleweight tourers is an all-time high in India with Benelli TRK 502, SWM SuperDual and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT, CFMoto 650MT can be a worthy competitor to a long list of products. The 649cc, twin cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 56.4 HP at 9500 rpm and 62 Nm at 7000 rpm.
