After being spotted testing multiple times, the CFMoto 300SR sports bike was officially revealed back in February 2020 and it is now also listed on the brand’s global website. As per the latest details available, the motorcycle is expected to launch in the Indian markets in the coming months while it would be competing against the likes of TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CB300R, Benelli 302R, and the Yamaha YZF-R3.
Mechanically, the all-new CFMoto 300SR is powered by a 292.4cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder, DOHC engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 28.7 HP @ 8750 rpm along with a peak torque of 25.3 Nm @ 7250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.
The braking duties are handled by front and rear disc brakes that are further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. In terms of suspension, the sports bike features upside-down telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear end. Like most of the 300cc sports bikes, the CFMoto 300SR is also equipped with an all-digital instrument console.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 110/70-R17 front tyre and a 140/60-R17 rear tyre. The kerb weight of 300SR is 165kgs while the fuel tank capacity stands at 12-litres. In terms of pricing, the CFMoto 300SR is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of approximately INR 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
