The patent images of the most anticipated sports motorcycle from the Chinese manufacturer, the CFMoto 300SR have recently surfaced online. The leaked images of the upcoming motorcycle give the audience a clear insight on what to expect from the production variant of the TVS Apache RR 310’s rival.
The recent reports suggest that the brand is working on two variants under the CFMoto SR series – 250SR and 300SR, though no official confirmation has been received on the same yet. The 250SR and 300SR motorcycle variants will be based on the platform of the CFMoto 250K and 300NK respectively.
The Indian market is expected to get only the CFMoto 300SR which will be powered by a BS6-compliant 292cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that will be capable of offering maximum power of 28.6HP at 8750rpm. The power value is down by 5.4HP when compared to the 34HP of power generated by the BS4-compliant CFMoto 300NK. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
With a kerb weight of 165kgs, the 300SR will limit the top speed at just 138kmph which is considerably less when compared to the other motorcycles in its segment. The suspension duties on the motorcycle will be handled by upside-down forks at the front while the rear will feature a monoshock absorber.
The disc brakes at either side will be mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. The motorcycle will feature a coloured TFT instrument console while the rider will be able to operate the motorcycle in two modes: Sport and Rain. The CFMoto 300SR will feature a complete LED headlight and taillight setup while the brand is expected to unveil the sports bike in the coming months.
