CFMoto 400NK and 400GT will launch in India by mid-2020, leaving fans with a lot more time than expected to experience the powerful twin-cylinder motorcycles in India. The CFMoto branding will arrive with multiple 300cc and 650cc options initially, leaving the competition out of sight for the INR 5 lakh worth Ninja 400.
The price segment also offers bigger 500cc Benelli models but when it comes to CFMoto, they are expected to keep the pricing much more competitive. The 400cc 2-cylinder engine comes in two different states of tune, producing 41 HP / 34.4 Nm for the 400NK streetfighter and 42.5 HP / 36.5 Nm for the touring-friendly 400GT.
The standard forks are available on both models while the rear comes with a monoshock for the 400cc series. CFMoto 400NK comes with 206 kg of wet weight and claims 155 kph of top speed. However, the huge engine size could have offered better performance like Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Yamaha YZF-R3 As these two options are fully-faired, they do get the benefit from aerodynamics for a better top end. CFMoto 400NK measures 2114mm in length, 757mm in width and 1100mm in height. The wheelbase available on the streetfighter is 1415mm while seat height stays good at 815mm.
CFMoto 400GT comes with a huge front fairing, taking the total weight up to 226 kg on the touring-friendly model. The fuel tank measures 19-litres while seat height is slightly lower at 795mm in comparison to the 400NK streetfighter. The front comes with dual LED lights with four modes for different throw requirements.
The front visor can be adjusted for up to 60mm while TFT display used as the console is programmed to adjust according to the light conditions. CFMoto 400NK and 400GT will be available in two colour combinations: Blue with Black and White with Black. The 400cc CFMoto motorcycle series is expected to start from around INR 3 lakh in India.
