CFMoto to Officially Launch ATV Range in India Next Year

CFMoto is all set to launch an exclusive range of ATVs in India via their Indian partner AMW. Considering that the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is a big hit in the Indian market, the brand plans on setting their foothold in the ATV sector as well.

According to the reports, the upcoming ATVs by CFMoto will be specifically manufactured locally to save on the import duties and taxes. The Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer, CFMoto recently debuted its entry in India with four new motorcycles namely 300NK, 650NK, 650GT, and the 650MT. It is also one of the biggest firms to have an impressive market share in the ATV segment across various countries.

The local manufacturing of the products will help the brand price the ATVs aggressively and make them affordable among several buyers. At present, all the ATVs available in India are imported from other countries which make them out of the reach of the regular audience.

As of now, there is no confirmation on the range of ATVs the brand is planning to bring to India though one can expect the brand to start from its entry-level products that range between 400-500cc of displacement.

The entry-level CForce 450 is powered by 400cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine while the bigger displacement CForce 550 is powered by 495cc single-cylinder motor. In addition to these, the brand also plans on bringing the CForce 520 in the Indian market though it offers lesser power output when compared to the CForce 550. The brand even has a 1000cc ATV model in its portfolio, known as CForce 1000.

The Chinese manufacturer plans on selling its ATVs across its several motorcycle showrooms in India to reach a wider audience as well as for the better promotion of its products. The pricing for the upcoming ATVs will be decided after the company completes the survey of the Indian ATV market. As per the rumours, the brand plans on launching its ATVs in early 2020 though, no official confirmation has surfaced yet.
