CFMoto Motorcycles India Launch Delayed: Heavy rains in Mumbai have marked its effect on almost everyone residing in the city. Also, the IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) has predicted chances of heavy to extreme rainfall in the coming few hours. The state government even declared a public holiday yesterday.
There is no sign of relief as this downpour continues and refuses to stop soon. By looking at the current situation, AMW Motorcycles have postponed their upcoming launch of CFMoto bikes in India. The event was scheduled to take place in Mumbai on July 4, and it has now been delayed by a few days. The brand has not yet announced the new launch date.
CFMoto plans to set up an assembly plant in India to cut the prices of their motorcycles. They have been already testing some of the models from their portfolio that consist of 300NK, 650GT, 650MT, and 650NK. Setting up a plant in India will surely help CFMoto to attain greater volumes and also price their motorcycles in a handsome yet aggressive manner.
This will help CFMoto Motorcycles rival against some of the popular names like the Honda CB300R, BMW G310R, KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Ninja 400, Kawasaki Versys 650, and the Suzuki V-Strom 650. All these bikes are positioned in different segments. So it would be pretty interesting to see that what market plan will CFMoto make to mark the position for their motorcycles.
The brand also claims to develop, manufacture, market and finally deliver one of the world’s most cost-effective motorcycles. The company also assures that they will introduce all-terrain vehicles and side-by-side utility vehicles in India in the coming months.
Initially, CFMoto will launch 4 motorcycles in India namely 300NK, 650GT, 650MT, and 650NK. As per the latest details available, the brand has delayed the launch of 400NK and 400GT. They will now launch these two motorcycles by mid-2020.
