CFMoto 700 CL-X scrambler motorcycle has been recently unveiled by the brand at the EICMA 2019. Staying true to the previously leaked patent images, the CL-X features a unique design language. The motorcycle can be availed by the customers in three different variants namely: CL-X Heritage, CL-X Adventure and CL-X Sport.
The CFMoto 700 CL-X Heritage variant features wide handlebar units in addition to getting standard set of footpegs. The motorcycle variant has been further equipped with dual-tone paint scheme with gold detailing accentuating its profile. The tanned leather seats, on the other hand, add to its overall scrambler outlook.
Coming to the CFMoto 700 CL-X Adventure variant, this version has been equipped with spoke wheels setup mated to dual-sport tyres. The motorcycle features a raised handlebar unit offering an eased riding position while the customers can also avail a wide windscreen and pannier as the additional accessories.
The Sports variant has been equipped with a clip-on handlebar setup adding to its cafe racer persona. The handlebar unit is mated to bar-end mirrors while the footpegs have been offered a rear position. The saddle complements its premium cafe racer appeal which is further complemented by the use of sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso Super Corsa tyres at either end.
Powering all the three variants of the motorcycle is the same 692cc, parallel-twin engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 73HP. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. In addition to the same engine specifications, the brand has equipped the motorcycles with a round LED headlight unit, an LCD instrument panel as well as cruise control.
The suspension duties are handled by inverted forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with monoshock suspension. The motorcycles have been further equipped with disc brakes at either end mated to dual-channel ABS as standard.
One can expect the brand to launch all three variants of the motorcycle in the Indian market by the end of the year 2020 or early 2021. The pricing for the motorcycle variants will be revealed by the brand in the coming days though one can expect CFMoto to offer aggressive price tags to its CL-X range.
