Cleveland Ace Deluxe 250 & Misfit 250 Launched in India

Cleveland has officially launched the Ace Deluxe 250 and Misfit 250 in India today. The brand officially revealed the pricing for both the bikes through an interactive Facebook campaign in India. The official pricing for Cleveland Ace 250 is INR 2,23,567 while Misfit 250 retails for INR 2,49,786. The pricing is very high, especially for the models that feature non-ABS brakes and standard non-faired design. They hosted two jumbled number events and announced the name of winners who bagged CCW merchandise through the campaign. Cleveland also inaugurated its 1st dealership, located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Initially, only the Ace Deluxe 250 will go on sale, while the Misfit 250 is expected to go on sale in October.

Cleveland Ace 250, the entry-level model, is powered by a 229cc, single-cylinder engine, producing 15.4 HP of power at 7000 rpm and 16 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a basic five-speed gearbox. They have not mentioned the availability of a slipper clutch, and thus, lack of equipment can harm the brand’s initial response rate from prospective customers. A buyer spending INR 2.23 lakh has variable options like TVS Apache RR310, Honda CBR250R, Mahindra Mojo or even KTM 390 Duke with a certain addition to the package. The Ace 250 comes with front USD forks and dual disc brakes as the highlightable features.

The saddle height of 760mm is surely what others don’t offer at all in India. The 14-liter fuel tank and 133kg of curb weight make it highly responsive in comparison to other heavy options around this segment. Cleveland Misfit 250, the INR 2.50 lakh worth machine, comes with golden finished USD forks, spoke wheels, dual-purpose tires and still, a wet weight of just 144kg. The fuel tank measures 15-liters and a bigger 320mm front disc brake is offered on the Misfit. Even the rear disc brake is slightly bigger at 220mm. Both models are available without LED lights.
