Mechanically, there are no changes and the new CT 110 X is powered by the same 115cc engine that features an electronic fuel injector (EFI) and is good for 8.6 HP of maximum power at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine continues to be mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The power and performance difference between 100cc and 110cc bikes is smaller than usual but still, as the industry moved from 150cc to 160cc for more power and decent fuel economy, it seems like the bigger option is definitely the better one.
