Ducati Diavel Carbon has been officially relaunched in India for INR 19.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The version was once discontinued for being BS3 compliant. Exclusive features of Ducati Diavel Carbon includes Marchesini forged wheels, all-black Zircotec wrapped exhaust pipes and steel exhaust outlets.
It even comes with a unique paint scheme. Apart from above listed changes, everything else remains exactly the same as standard Diavel. It is one unique product of its category as Yamaha has discontinued the similar styled V-Max from India. Power cruisers are not as common as retro styled cruisers and sport bikes in our country.
Diavel Carbon comes with 1198.4cc, twin cylinder engine producing 159.5 BHP at 9250 rpm and 130.5 Nm at 8000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It weighs 239 kg and flaunts huge extensions on the upper half of its fuel tank.
Ducati Diavel seems to be the inspiration of designers who came up with final design of Bajaj Dominar 400. The brand claims 270 kmph of top speed for Diavel Carbon. Even short riders can enjoy the power burst out of Diavel as comfortable seat of height of 770 mm is always helpful.
Feature list on Ducati Diavel includes 320mm dual front Brembo brakes, Marzocchi 50mm USD fully adjustable forks, single sided aluminum swing-arm, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and LED lights. An extra long 1580 mm of wheelbase makes Diavel a great option for stability filled straight road sprints.
Ducati claims 0-100 kmph time of just 2.6 seconds. The fuel tank design is pretty unique while use of dual display helps rider get every required value at the right place. Ducati recently updated the prices for all bikes available in India. The range now goes beyond INR 60 lakh for their 1299 Final Edition while Scrambler Icon still stays the most affordable model.
