Ducati 959 Panigale Corse Edition Launched in India @ INR 15.20 Lakh

Ducati 959 Panigale Corse Edition is now on-sale India for INR 15.20 lakh, leaving buyers with another track-focused machine that uses sophisticated equipment to create better lap times and total control over the tarmac. The stock version with Red shade costs INR 14.53 lakh, remaining unchanged for a long time. The race spec 959 Panigale Corse Edition was first seen in November 2017, carrying a special Red/White theme to celebrate higher levels of performance with a class-leading design and equipment list.

Panigale 959 Corse comes with Ohlins steering damper, fully adjustable NI30 front forks, and TTX36 rear monoshock, along with lighter Li-ion battery and Akrapovic exhaust system. The total reduction in weight, even after adding better and technically more advanced equipment, is 2.26 kg. The price difference of INR 67,000 is totally justified by such premium equipment list, leaving the engine tuned to the stock condition. The 955cc, twin-cylinder motor is good for 150 hp of maximum power and 102 Nm of torque. The Panigale 959 has no direct competition due to different cylinder layout than others.

Ducati 959 Panigale Corse Edition to Launch in India Soon

The pricing makes it good for Kawasaki ZX-10RR and Honda CBR1000RR SP as direct competitors. The standard version of both bikes lack the premium suspension parts. Ducati is one among the most desired premium brands in India, currently retailing through a limited number of dealerships but, a complete lineup with the most mouth-watering options among the others.

Commenting on the launch, Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The Panigale has always been the definite Ducati Superbike that allows biking enthusiasts to have an unparalleled experience on a race track. The 959 Panigale embodies absolute excellence through the advanced electronics package that inspires confidence and allows riders to explore the limit. In this special Corse livery, the 959 looks much more special and unique as the paint scheme is inspired by the colours of our MotoGP bike, the Desmosedici GP 18.”
