New Delhi, 27th March 2017 – Unveiled at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017, the Ducati Diavel Diesel is now available on special order at Ducati dealerships across the country. One of the most successful Ducati models in India, the Diavel has now donned an exquisite avatar, as a result of a creative collaboration between the Ducati Design Center and Andrea Rosso, Diesel Licensing Creative Director.
Ducati Diavel Diesel Launched in India @ INR 19.92 Lakhs
“A perfect amalgamation of Ducati’s signature design, safety and performance and Diesel’s craftsmanship and style, the Diavel Diesel is unique in every sense” said Ducati India Managing Director Ravi Avalur. “With our collaboration with Diesel we’ve widened the potential interest in this limited edition motorcycle beyond the world of motorcycle connoisseurs to fashion and design aesthetes.”
The Ducati Diavel Diesel is inspired by the energetic dynamism of a post-apocalyptic future. In 2012, Ducati and Diesel had collaborated and created a piece of art – the Ducati Monster Diesel, and now this latest offering remains true to the creativity and aesthetics of Ducati and Diesel. Diesel will also be presenting a capsule apparel collection of Jogg Jeans, leather jackets and t-shirts reflecting the DNA and roots shared by Ducati and Diesel.
CEO of Reliance Brands, Darshan Mehta said, “Diesel and Ducati share a common DNA. Of Bravery. In imagination. In detailing. In execution. Embodied in 666 limited editions of Daivel Ducati bikes. And equally in the Diesel Ducati limited edition merchandise that will hit Diesel stores worldwide in the summer of 2017.”
Limited numbers of Ducati Diavel Diesel are available on order at INR 19,92,000 (Ex-showroom New Delhi) at Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad.
Distinguishing features of the Ducati Diavel Diesel
The Ducati Diavel Diesel is characterized by a hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure with visible welding and rivets that make it unmistakable and timeless. Details like the tank cover, front cowl, and passenger saddle cover are examples of craftsmanship and style. The saddle, made of real leather, is unique to this Diavel, on which the pyramid motif appears: the three Ds of Ducati, Diavel, and Diesel.
Other distinguishing features of this very special Diavel include the lateral air intake covers, made of red methacrylate with the Diesel logo on the inside. Red is also the color of the Brembo front brake calipers, of five chain links and the LCD dashboard, which recalls vintage digital displays. The Ducati Diavel Diesel’s exhaust system is another detailed work of art, thanks to the pipes graced by black Zircotec ceramic coating and black silencers with ends machined from solid, on which the new pyramid motif appears.
Its 162 HP Testastretta 11° DS engine combined with the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and Ducati Traction Control) and Riding Modes offer a riding experience that’s thrilling and at the same time safe and intuitive. The 240 mm wide rear tyre is full of personality and, thanks to the effective chassis set-up, delivers both high-precision handling and day-to-day comfort.
