Ducati seems to satisfy each and every customer with tailor made motorcycle lineup on their side. The recent entry to the list is Ducati Monster 797, bringing back old days with the 803cc, air cooled engine for those who are not into buying a Scrambler from the company. Defining a new lower edge for the famous street fighter family, 797 is aimed at bigger sales for the Monster series.

Ducati Monster 797 comes with double sided swingarm, Kayaba 43 mm front forks (non-adjustable), Sachs rear monoshock. The 803 cc, air cooled and fuel injected engine is good for 75 HP @ 8250 rpm and 68.9 Nm @ 5750 rpm. The twin cylinder motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while the bike weighs 193 kg.
The positive side include a huge 16.5 liter fuel tank, 18.86 kmpl of mileage, 805 mm of seat height and Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres. The seat position is even comfortable for the pillion and the motorcycle excels in everyday riding condition. It uses front 320 mm, dual disc brakes while the rear has 245 mm, single disc with ABS as standard on both the ends. Ducati offers a great 12,000 kilometer service interval, making the owner least worried about the maintenance schedules.
Monster 797 even comes with 2 years / unlimited mileage warranty for enhanced peace of mind. The pricing for the Red model stays at $9,295 while the White can be bought for $9,395. It will go on sale in April 2017 in the US market. As of now, Ducati has not announced anything regarding the launch of Monster 797 in India, but it will come to India for sure, the expected price of this naked sport bike is Rs 7-8 lakh (ex-showroom).
