Ducati Scrambler Hashtag has been unveiled through their official website. The bike is based on younger Scrambler Sixty2 but comes with all-black paint and component list. Even the seat used here is shared with bigger Scrambler Desert Sled.
Hashtag can be exclusively booked online for 500 Euros (INR 40,000 approx) while remaining amount is to be paid at the dealership. It will cost 6990 Euros (INR 5.57 lakh approx) and delivery date will be given after full payment. Ducati plans to start deliveries by March 2018. Scrambler Hashtag buyers will get 20 percent additional discount on accessories.
Ducati Hashtag will not be an India specific product as they have earlier refused to bring Scrambler Sixty2 due to pricing concerns. The motorcycle was developed for markets where engine performance is considered before issuing a driving license.
Hashtag or even standard Sixty2 will get a price tag closer to that of entry level products and thus, no one would be actually interested in getting a lesser powerful option. The deliveries of Scrambler Hashtag are presently limited to certain countries of Europe only. Ducati could have made the deal more attractive by providing a home delivery option through full payment online.
It weighs just 183 kg and offers selectable seat height option for average built riders. It comes in wide range of attractive shades for Sixty2 while Hashtag is all black with dark themed suspension, exhaust and wheels. Ducati India is one among the most reputable sport bike brands of the world. Indian lineup offers almost every international series.
