Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 won’t be launched in India

Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 was one of the most excitement filled product at the EICMA 2015. It was the most economical Ducati expected for the Indian market but the expectations have been fairly ruled out by the officials of Ducati India. The motorcycle is said to be just an offering for countries where the driving license restriction are present. They also said that there is no special privileges for this class of motorcycle in India and its price is just marginally lower the bigger Scramblers.

The 5-10 percent of lower price than the bigger Scrambler won’t make it a cost effective product for India. Not even there are duties which can favor the motorcycle. The L-Twin 399cc motorcycle is good for 41 HP and 34.6 Nm of torque. It would have been a perfect machine in the Indian market if it was being locally manufactured in India. Carrying simple design and conventional forks makes would have helped it stay further low on the price point.
