EICMA 2018: Ducati Monster 821 Stealth Edition Officially Revealed

Ducati Monster 821 Stealth Edition is the most loaded motorcycle of its segment, clearly ready for a debut in most markets where the standard version is already a bestseller. EICMA 2018 will offer worldwide popularity to the special edition, which most of the experts believe to be the last production model for the middleweight streetfighter. The all-black model is powered by the same 821cc engine, producing exactly the same amount of power and torque as the standard model. The addition here is the availability of up/down quickshifter, impressively designed fly-screen and adjustable front 43mm Kayaba forks.

The 821cc, twin-cylinder engine on the motorcycle is tuned to produce an impressive 109 HP of maximum power and 86 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Riders get an option between 785-810mm of seat height, allowing them to enjoy the street fighter’s true potential in the best possible way. Ducati is expected to switch to a bigger 950 model with the Monster series, which will not just add more power to the machine but also save them from added hassle that comes when switching emission norms. The emission norms will switch in Europe to Euro 5 in 2020.

Ducati is expected to use the Panigale 959’s engine, tuned down to a lower point for better street dynamics. Also, they can use the 939 engine from SuperSport, leaving buyers with an even more practical engine that has always been praised for its city friendly dynamics. Ducati Monster 821 Stealth is available with grey inserts on the fuel tank, further highlighted with red lines on the tank, rear cowl and alloy wheels inserts. The exhaust stays all black with silver ends for the dual barrel design. Indian launch will take place for sure as Ducati brings everything ranging from limited edition to limited production models.
