New Delhi, 13th November 2018: Ducati India, the Italian luxury brand has delivered the first Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale in India to motorcycling enthusiast Kartikey Uniyal. The Panigale V4 Speciale is a concentrate of Ducati’s style, sophistication and performance drawn directly from Ducati’s racing pedigree, to build a sophisticated superbike that is the closest thing possible to its MotoGP counterpart, the Desmosedici GP. Ducati has globally produced only 1,500 units of Panigale V4 Speciale and has delivered India’s first unit.
Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India said, “The new Panigale V4 is the essence of sport motorcycling in its most exhilarating and pure form. Just like its name, the Panigale V4 Speciale is a very special production in the Ducati story, a new “symphony of Italian performance and emotion”. We are proud to have delivered the first Panigale V4 Speciale to Kartikey Uniyal and welcome him to the Ducati family.”
The new Panigale V4 Speciale completes the range of Panigale V4 and takes the concept of an Italian sport bike to an extreme. It comes with an exclusive and dedicated livery, a titanium Ducati performance by Akrapovic exhaust and a steering head worked from the solid, with an identification number. The Panigale V4 Speciale makes 226 hp @ 13,750 rpm and puts out 133.6 Nm of torque @ 11,000 rpm. It also has a lighter lithium-ion battery and a cast magnesium sub-frame and has a dry weight of 174 kg.
It is different, unique and distinguished, thanks to the tri-color livery and many dedicated technical elements, like the billet steering plate with screen-printed logo and progressive number, Alcantra seat covered with precious Ultrasuede or the carbon heel guards. The limited edition Speciale comes with fully adjustable Ohlins electronic suspension at both ends, NIX-30 USD forks up front and TTX36 unit at the rear and Marchesini forged magnesium racing wheels are optionally available.
Priced at INR 51,81,000 (Ex-Showroom), the Panigale V4 Speciale is available across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata and Chennai.
