Furion M1 Hybrid Sport Bike | Rotary Engine | 180 HP | 205 NM | 25 KMPL

Meet Furion M1 Hybrid Sport Bike: Furion Motorcycles, a french automobile design brand recently brought their idea of a hybrid motorcycle through their CAD images. The design looks amazing while performance specs for the same are even more promising than others of its class.

The motorcycle sourced the power from 654 cc Wankel rotary engine while uses an electric motor that comes paired with five lithium ion batteries. The claims of power production are astonishing as the engine is good for 125 HP at 9000 rpm and 105 Nm at 6000 rpm.

These values are valid for the petrol motor while adding the additional 55 HP and 100 Nm from the electric motor makes the motorcycle good for 180 HP pf total power and 205 Nm of total torque. The surprise package is fully revealed when you read the manufacturer claiming a mileage of 400 kilometers in just 16 liters of fuel.

That makes a great 25 kmpl of mileage while the power attained in the same period can put some professional race bikes to shame. The wet weight of 209 kg is even comparable to the same segment of bikes.

For a simple comparison, the power generation of the hybrid can be compared to a naked street bike falling in the same engine category. It is clearly three times more powerful when compared in terms of torque while even the most powerful street fighters would carry half the horsepower as this motorcycle.

It measures 2095 mm in length, carries a seat height of 810 mm and claims a wheelbase of 1435 mm. The superbike dynamics are further enhanced with 120/70-17 front and 190/50-17 rear tyre.

The motorcycle comes with tubular trellis frame, 43 mm USD forks, rear monoshock, 310 mm dual front disc brake, 250 mm rear disc brake and 6-speed transmission. The use of rotary engine in place of a modern engine helped Furion Motorcycles keep the weight under check.

The cylinders of the engine rotate around the stationary camshaft. It was basically used in aviation industry while in later stage, the same was used in automobiles. This makes the motorcycle even more unique than others in the industry.
