Harley-Davidson Blue Edition is more than just a custom motorcycle, flaunting highly expensive pieces of jewelry through its perfectly fabricated body. Bucherer, a Swiss jewelry and watch seller, commissioned this project to German modifier Bundnerbike.
The bike is based on Softail Slim S and thus, required extensive overhaul before getting anyway closer to these images that you witness from Harley-Davidson Blue Edition. Only one unit of this machine was made and thus, asking price of $1.88 million (INR 12.80 Crore) may feel justified to collectors. The high price is also a result of extensive diamond and gold used on Harley Davidson Blue Edition.
The wheelbase is now longer than ever. Both ends are now using bigger alloy wheel size and only two shades spotted everywhere are blue and gold. This blue shade was achieved by silver plating the body and then applying six coats of paint. The other shade, as you can guess, is achieved through gold plating.
Chopper style forward biased foot pegs and low seat completes the overall package. Smaller versions of Dizzler are studded in the handlebar ends for further beautification. As only single unit has been made and showcased in Zurich, chances of Indian arrival are zero in this case.
