INR 72,000 Discount on Harley-Davidson Street 750: Harley launched the Street 750 limited edition in India in August last year. The limited-edition model was launched as a part of the Harley-Davidson’s 10th anniversary as the brand entered India in 2009. The limited-edition Street 750 is priced at INR 5.47 lakh (ex-showroom) and only 300 units of the motorcycle have been made. Seven Islands, a chain of Harley outlets in Maharashtra is offering the bike at INR 4.75 lakh with an effective discount of INR 72,000.

Comparing with the standard Street 750, the limited-edition Street 750 has a premium medallion along with the special graphics on the fuel tank and on the panel above taillight. Mechanically, the limited-edition motorcycle uses the same engine as that of standard Street 750.

It comes powered by a 749cc, liquid-cooled, Revolution X V-Twin engine that complies with the stringent BS6 emission norms. It churns out 60Nm of peak torque at 3,750 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension duties on the bike are performed by telescopic forks at the front and specially tuned twin shock absorbers at the rear.

For braking performance, there is a disc brake at either end while are further paired to a dual-channel ABS unit. The bookings for the bike are being accepted online via Seven Islands dealerships at a token amount of INR 10,000. The remaining purchasing process including the registration would begin after the lockdown ends, which has been recently extended by the Indian government till May 3, 2020.

The type of discount Seven Islands Harley-Davidson is offering is one-of-its-kind as it is the first BS6 bike available in the market with such an offer. For reference, when the limited edition Street 750 was launched in India back in August 2019, it was INR 13,000 costlier than the standard BS4 Street 750.
