Hero Destini 125 is now officially available in India for INR 54,650. The price mentioned here is for the LX variant while VX costs INR 57,500. The new scooter is loaded with advanced technological features and pricing definitely crowns the Destini 125 as the most affordable scooter of its segment. It features telescopic suspension, optional alloy wheels, full metal body, i3s technology, tubeless tires, external fuel filler and under seat charging slot. Hero Destini is powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled engine with i3s, producing 8.7 BHP at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm.
The scooter measures 1,809mm in length, 729mm in width and 1,154mm in height. The wheelbase measures 1245mm and ground clearance is rated at 155mm. Using metal body, the new Destini 125 weighs 111.5 kg. The scooter features elegant chrome placement and comes in four attractive shades, namely Nobel Red, Chestnut Bronze, Pearl Silver White, and Panther Black. Both ends are available with 10-inch tires with steel wheels on LX and alloy wheels on the VX variant. Hero MotoCorp is using a semi-digital instrument console with service reminder and side stand warning. The exhaust design seen here is quite elegant for its class. Destini 125 is also equipped with IBS (Integrated Braking System).
Destini 125 rivals Suzuki Access 125 and Activa 125 in its segment. Fortunately, both the other options are priced much higher in comparison to the top spec model of Destini, leaving Hero with a chance to present 125cc scooter in the territory of 110cc models like Jupiter with disc brake. Destini is based on the familiar design language as Duet, sharing the boomerang pattern seen on the rear side panel. Apart from that, the external fuel filler facilitates easy refills at all times. Hero offers body colored rear view mirrors with the new Destini 125.
