Hero customer will no more need to worry about genuine spare parts for their existing as well as discontinued products in India. HGP Mart, their first ever online initiative, has finally gone live with parts listed for every possible motorcycle built till date.
First time buyers can use their HGPNEW code to get 5% discount on their total car amount if the number is anything above INR 500. Buyers can track orders, choose their part in three easy steps and even pay through multiple ways to get easiest possible delivery of their much required genuine part.
Buyers can search for a part by entering the name, number of VIN of their required product. More than that, you can even choose the bike and then select from multiple fields like engine, transmission, clutch, brake, wheels and more.
Electrical components are also listed separately while bikes as old as CD 100SS can be found on the website. Buyers can test the genuineness of their product through certain prescribed measures in a separate section. Those looking for accessories will also feel at home on HGP Mart as they serve helmets, seat covers, floor mats, mirrors and much more for almost entire range of bikes.
The list includes all the scooter manufactured till date. Hero is India’s best selling brand when it comes to commuter bikes. Their number of bikes sold is higher than any other brand as Honda mainly dominates the scooter segment.
Offering everything online will help buyers save time and money by replacing essential parts by themselves at home. While buyers can get important parts like oil seals and engine components from the website, they are yet to list their range of genuine oils. It seems like this move was intentionally halted as that would have resulted in lack of customers at service centers.
