Hero MotoCorp Launches New Motorcycle in India: India’s largest two-wheeler brand, Hero MotoCorp, has launched a new motorcycle in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of just INR 49,400. Known as HF 100, it is based on the HF Deluxe, and at this price point, it the brand’s most affordable motorcycle. It is cheaper than the base model of the Splendor series. As the petrol prices are on the higher side these days, Hero HF 100 could prove to be an instant hit among the buyers.

The motorcycle is available in a single colour option – Gloss Black with Silver and Red Graphics. Coming to the other design highlights, HF 100 features all-black 5-spoke alloy wheels, a blacked-out exhaust system, a huge grab rail for the pillion rider, black rearview mirrors, a black chain cover, black fenders, and a basic halogen headlight.

Coming to the technical specifications, the new Hero HF 100 is powered by a 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is good enough to generate 7.91 HP of maximum power at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine features an advanced programmable fuel injection system that ensures an optimal combination of fuel economy and performance. Like the rest of the Hero’s entry-level motorcycles, HF 100 is also equipped with a 4-speed transmission.

Talking about the hardware components, Hero HF Deluxe is equipped with a 130mm front drum brake and a 130mm drum brake at the rear end. The suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Being the most affordable model, there is no option for an electric start system and HF 100 features kick start as standard. Coming to the dimensions, the motorcycle is 1965mm in length, 720mm in width, and 1045mm in height. It has a seat height of 805mm with a fuel tank capacity of 9.10-litres while the kerb weight stands at 110 kg.
