Hero Motocorp’s Vida Electric Scooter is Coming on July 1, 2022

Indigenous two-wheeler maker, Hero Motocorp, has officially unveiled the brand “Vida Powered By Hero” for its upcoming electric vehicle range. Under this brand, the first electric scooter will be introduced on July 1st, 2022 to coincide with the birth anniversary of Dr Brijmohan Lall, Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp. According to Hero Motocorp, the first model under the new brand will be developed at its Chittoor facility, and deliveries of the vehicle will start by the end of 2022. 

Presenting the Vida brand logo, Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp stated, “Vida means life, and the brand’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world and move us all forward in meaningful ways. We believe the name is perfect for what we are building for our children and the next generation. This is truly the dawn of something special. In only 17 weeks from today, we will unveil our Vida platform, products and services to make the world a better place.”

Further, he adds, “When I see our future generations, especially my grandchildren, all I want to do is build a future of optimism, a future of positive energy, a future that is clean, where everyone has something to look forward to and participates in something bigger and better. With the creation of “Vida,” we will offer everyone the opportunity to thrive, grow, and live better while continuing to move the way they want. I will lead this initiative from the front.”

Hero MotoCorp has also announced the establishment of a $100 million Global Sustainability Fund. This fund, sponsored by BML Munjal University and Hero MotoCorp, will strive to build worldwide alliances with the goal of fostering more than 10,000 entrepreneurs on ESG solutions that have a beneficial influence on the globe. Hero Motocorp comes under the world’s biggest two-wheeler maker in terms of volume.
