Hero Splendor+ 25 Years Special Edition Spotted at a Dealership

Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch Splendor+ 25 Years Special Edition as they are celebrating 25 years of its iconic Splendor brand. The honorary model costs INR 55,856 (ex-showroom, Jamshedpur) and has started to arrive at the dealerships. In comparison, the standard model of the Splendor+ retails at INR 54,856, which means that the brand is charging INR 1000 extra for the special edition model.

Talking about the changes, the Splendor+ 25 Years Special Edition comes with attractive graphics and 3D emblems across the body. Its front visor features a ‘Special Edition’ sticker along with new graphics on either side.

The fuel tank carries a 3D Hero logo, while the side panels feature ‘Splendor+’ branding with ‘25 Years Special Edition’ stickers. An i3S (Idle Start Stop System) sticker is there at the rear panel. A USB charger has also been installed on the handlebar, and it has a lid to cover the USB port to keep it safe in the rainy weather.

Mechanically, the Hero Splendor+ 25 Years Special Edition has the same engine specifications as the regular model. It is powered by a 97.2cc air-cooled, single cylinder OHC motor that would deliver 8.36 HP of maximum power at 8000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. The engine would come mated to a four-speed gearbox.

The bike will come featured with a kick and self-start system. For Braking performance, it has got 130mm drum brakes on both wheels while its safety net includes Hero MotoCorp’s Integrated Braking System (IBS) as standard.

Alike the regular model, this special edition will also come equipped with alloy wheels, but with a black finish for distinctive styling. For suspension duties, it has telescopic hydraulic forks at front and swing arm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Hero MotoCorp is expected to officially launch the Splendor+ 25 Years Special Edition in the coming days.
