One of the most awaited motorcycles, the Hero XPulse is all set to launch in India on 1st May 2019. The bike will come in 2 variants: XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T. The design of the production-ready adventure motorcycles has been fully revealed in a new set of live photos shared by one of our fans on WhatsApp, and we must say that both the motorcycles look quite impressive.
The all-new XPulse 200T is the road-oriented touring version of the XPulse 200, which is a pure off-road motorcycle. As seen in the images, the bike looks very attractive in vibrant colour schemes. The front design of the motorcycle looks muscular with an all-LED headlight while the tail light of the bike has a thin design profile. Both the variants of the XPulse comes with a metal bash plate below the engine for protection.
Hero XPulse 200 series will be powered by Xtreme 200R’s 199.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which generates 18.1 Bhp of maximum power and 17.1 Nm of peak torque. The xPulse adventure motorcycle series will also get fuel injection. The 200T will get less suspension travel than the more off-road oriented Xpulse 200 while both the versions will come with single-channel ABS as standard.
The seat of the motorcycle looks comfortable but the level of comfort would be clear once the bike goes on sale in the Indian market. The design of the handlebar is also different on both the XPulse variants. The bike gets a fully digital instrument console which includes a speedometer, a tachometer, a trip meter, an odometer, plus a lot of other necessary indications. The XPulse is also expected to feature Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation as standard.
After the official launch in India, this bike won’t be having a direct rivalry as at this price point, it will be a one-of-its-kind motorcycle with both adventure and touring capabilities. The XPulse 200 is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag between INR 1,00,000 to INR 1,15,000. At present, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is the only option for the adventure motorcycle fans of India with a budget of under INR 2 lakh.
