Hero xPulse 200 Spotted Undisguised; India Launch Soon

Hero xPulse 200 is almost ready to have an official launch event in India. The powerful yet lightweight adventure machine is the only hope for riders with a budget of around INR 1.25 lakh (on-road) as all other adventure motorcycles are available with an on-road price tag of INR 2 lakh and above. The recent shots are taken from a video where the professional off-road rider CS Santosh is seen pushing the machine to its limits. The upcoming xPulse is called as the worthy successor to the Impulse, using the more powerful 200cc engine to end the limitations that arrived with the 150cc Impulse.

Not just the xPulse 200, Hero Motocorp also showcased the 200T variant with alloy wheels and touring-specific built. As both the models were spotted at various occasions with test number plates, the time has come when fans can cheer for their favourite upcoming product at the launch event. The exhaust on the regular xPulse 200 is placed higher for a better off-road riding feel. The Red motorcycle spotted here looks like a factory-custom model with the removal of unnecessary parts that add to the weight quotient while competing on a closed off-road event.

The 200cc engine on the Hero xPulse 200 may be good for 18.4 HP and 17.1 Nm as seen on the Xtreme 200R. The huge front wheel with wider than ever rear-wheel confirms that tough off-road riding will no more be a tough task. As the launch period of xPulse comes near, the brand will be busy preparing the dealerships for a new genre of customers that were much smaller in number when Impulse was sold in India. The seat height of 825mm may still be a problem for a big chunk of Indian riders. On the other hand, the 190mm of suspension travel will be the most important attraction point for the buyers.
