Hero XPulse 200T, the touring version of XPulse 200, has been launched in India for INR 94,000 (ex-showroom). It is featuring the same suspension setup as Xtreme 200R along with the more urban-focused 17-inch alloy wheels (100/80-front, 130/70-rear). As Hero XPulse 200T is the road touring version, it gets alloy wheels with road-biased tyres, a conventional exhaust, and an optional tall windscreen.
Mechanically, the bike is powered by the same 199.6cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 18.4 HP of maximum power and 17.1 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Unlike the XPulse 200, the XPulse 200T doesn’t come with an option of fuel injection. Braking setup of the 200T is the same as that of its off-road version with disc brakes at either end equipped with a single-channel ABS unit.
Both the bikes do share the same set of electronics, the XPulse 200T also comes with a fully digital instrument console which displays a speedometer, a tachometer, an odometer, fuel gauge, a trip meter and a gear shift indicator in the left part of the console.
The screen displays clock, date, distance to empty, mileage, and a Bluetooth connectivity icon on the right side of the console. The instrument cluster also features LED indicators which show neutral icon, ABS indication, battery indication, and side stand indication.
