Hero Xtreme 160R Launch Likely to be Postponed: According to the recent reports, the launch of the much-awaited Xtreme 160R that was expected to take place shortly will most likely be postponed considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Major automobile manufacturers have temporarily shut their operations due to the pandemic situation to cater to the social distancing parameters. Since India is under lockdown till April 14, 2020, the Hero MotoCorp has also halted all its operations as well as activities at its facilities in India, Columbia and Bangladesh to ensure the welfare of its employees.
With the disruption of the supply chain that has been caused due to the lockdown, the launch of the Hero Xtreme 160R is expected to be delayed indefinitely until the situation is under control in the country. The brand has decided to take the lockdown in stride and will most likely delay the launch of the sports machine even though the production of the motorcycle might have been completed at the production plants.
The Hero Xtreme 160R was unveiled by the brand at the Hero World 2020 event which was held in February 2020. It is one of the brand’s all-new commuter bikes that will be getting an esteemed position under the 160cc portfolio.

The suspension duties on the Hero Xtreme 160R are handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear features a 7-step adjustable monoshock unit.
