Hero Xtreme 200 4V Spied for the First Time; Launch Expected Around Festive Season

Hero Motocorp is actively working on the next variant of the Hero Xtreme 200. According to the sources, it is anticipated to hit the Indian market soon. Recently, the production stage model of the bike was spied during a meeting. However, not many details are available at the moment related to the forthcoming four-valve variant, but it is also very clear that the motorcycle will be more powerful than the previous version.

The BS6-compliant version of the naked roadster was never launched by the company and the fully-faired Xtreme 200S is now available in the country. The current Xtreme 200S’s BS6-compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor produces 17.83bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The four-valve configuration should allow the engine to produce 20-21bhp of maximum power.

The brand has updated the appearance of the Xtreme 200 roadster in addition to upgrading the engine. The new motorbike borrows stylistic ideas from the Xtreme 160R and has a contemporary headlamp design, a muscular fuel tank, and a comfortable seat. While talking about the other features of the upcoming bike, it will get all-LED lighting and a fully digital instrument cluster. Also, we can expect the Bluetooth connectivity feature. The Bluetooth module on the Xpulse 200 offers turn-by-turn navigation, and we might see a similar feature on the upcoming Xtreme 200 4V.

Additionally, more details will come out after the official debut of the motorcycle. When it comes to the pricing and launch details of the bike, Hero Motocorp has not announced anything yet, but it can be expected to launch around the festive season. As the company has recently hiked the prices, it is also likely to get a bigger price than the previous model. After getting launched, this bike is going to rival the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
