Hero Motocorp yesterday launched the 4-valve version of the XPulse 200 in India and the brand is soon going to launch the Xtreme 200S 4V as well. Recently, the Xtreme 200S 4V has been spotted road testing and it is believed to have the same 4-valve engine as the XPulse 200 4V, which is good for 19.1HP of maximum power and 17.35Nm of peak torque.

The upcoming fully-faired motorcycle is expected to retain the present version’s 5-speed gearbox. We anticipate that the brand will release the upgraded variant of Xtreme 200S around Diwali next month. According to the spy pictures, there aren’t many aesthetic changes. Even the fairing has the same graphics.

The fuel tank, on the other hand, has a reddish paint job. As a result, it cannot be claimed that it will be the production model. Despite this, the brand intends to make just minor aesthetic alterations while making significant technical improvements because the test model was not even disguised.

The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V would get twin-LED headlights, a completely digital instrument cluster, disc brakes on both ends, single-channel ABS, telescopic front forks, and a mono-shock at the back. Besides this, the Bluetooth connectivity feature can also be expected in the Xtreme 200S 4V.

In addition, we may also anticipate a price increase over the existing model’s Rs 1.24 lakh ex-showroom price tag. However, the company has not confirmed anything yet and all the official details are expected to come out soon. In terms of competition, the motorbike will face the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Bajaj Pulsar 220F and Yamaha YZF-R15 in the country.
