Honda CB125R has been launched in the UK for GBP 3,949 (INR 3.62 lakh approx). This makes it an expensive motorcycle when compared in Indian terms as buying a 125cc motorcycle with such huge price tag will not be a practical option.
Still, Even if Honda manufactures this one in India, they will not be able to price it under INR 1.50 lakh. CB125R is powered by a fuel injected, liquid cooled 125cc motor producing 13.14 HP at 10,000 rpm and 10 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Like all premium bikes, CB125R uses 110mm front and 150mm rear wheel for maximum traction. Buyers get ABS on both wheels while front suspension on use is premium 41mm USD forks.
It weighs just 126 kg and offers 48.4 kmpl of WMTC mode mileage. This makes the 10.1 liter fuel tank good for more than 400 kilometers of real world range. Honda offers LED lights at both front and rear end while console is full LCD.
