Honda has officially launched the updated 2017 model of Activa 125 at a starting price of INR 56,954 (ex-showroom Delhi). The scooter now comes with ‘Always Headlight On’ (AHO) feature and BS4 compliant engine. The updates are seen on the front section, which now holds LED daytime running lights around the chrome section. 2017 Honda Activa now even offers mobile charging socket and front luggage carrying hook. The list of features on the 125 cc Activa also includes Combi braking system with equalizer.

The left lever of the scooter distributes the braking force equally into both front and rear brake. This further helps in stable braking as chances of a single tyre skidding gets lower by a large margin. All two wheelers under 125 cc will be carrying CBS as standard on them from April 2018 while it is mandatory for the manufacturers to fit their vehicles with BS4 compliant engines and all time on headlights from the April 2017 itself.
Honda Activa 125 is powered by 125cc, air cooled engine producing 8.52 BHP at 6500 rpm and 10.54 Nm at 5000 rpm. It comes mated to a CVT gearbox and now offers five shades namely Mat Crust Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue, Black and Rebel Red. It was first sold in two variants while Honda has added a third variant that simply carries alloy wheels and skips the disc brake. It sits in the middle of Standard and Deluxe variant of the 2017 Activa.
