The unofficial bookings for the 2019 Honda CBR650R have started with some dealers. The amount varies between INR 25,000-50,000 and deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter of FY 2019-20. The first ones to book the middleweight racer can expect deliveries by April 2019. The new Honda CBR650R is an updated version of the CBR650F, producing more power and bringing updated styling to the package. The motorcycle comes with twin LED headlight that looks similar to the litre-class machine.
Honda CBR650R is powered by a 649cc, four-cylinder engine, producing 95 HP at 12,000 rpm and 64 Nm at 8500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The claimed weight of the motorcycle is 207 kg, dropping an impressive amount of weight in comparison to the old CBR650F. The price for the upcoming CBR650R is expected to fall under INR 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The difference in price will be charged for the additions, including the USD front forks and the all-new digital console.
