2019 Honda Navi CBS has been launched in India for INR 47,110 (ex-showroom). The not-so-popular two-wheeler had earlier got more practical options than ever, adding all-new fuel gauge, metal exhaust protector and body-coloured headlight cover, rear view mirrors, and grab rail. 2019 Honda Navi comes in Patriot Red, Shasta White, Black, Ladakh Brown, Ranger Green and Sparky Orange shade. The brand offers tubeless tires, telescopic front forks, and 100kg of low weight through the Navi. The current-gen model is also available without CBS for INR 45,314.
The difference of almost INR 2,000 in the price of non-CBS and CBS model is not at all justified as they charge almost INR 500 for the technology in their existing models. Honda is yet to offer ABS in the Unicorn 160 while all other models are now equipped with ABS or CBS in the country. The sales for Navi are down to a negligible number and most buyers still prefer an Activa over the same.
The fun-to-ride machine comes with an Activa sourced frame and engine setup. The refined 109cc, single cylinder engine is good for 8 HP at 7000 rpm and 8.94 Nm at 5500 rpm. Being lighter than the others, Navi is a great option when a city-specific commute is your first choice. The 3.5-litre fuel tank is good for 150km of range before the desperate need of a refill. The front tire on Honda Navi measures 90/90-12 while the rear is a smaller 90/100-10 unit (similar to Activa 125).
