Honda and practicality go hand-in-hand in most countries and the new Super Cub C125 ABS is a no different story. Designed to be unconventional and extremely comfortable, the new Super Cub is priced at $3,599 (INR 2.47 lakh approx) in the US.
As Honda will deliver a limited number of units for this machine, interested buyers will need to hurry before the stock goes out for this year. It can only be bought in Pearl Niltava Blue shade. This single-seat machine comes with a rear mounted luggage carrier, LED round front headlight, handlebar integrated turn signals and all digital instrument console.
The tire size used here is well in sync with Honda motorcycles but scooter like low seat categorizes the new Super Cub C125 as a step-through. It even comes with a car-like key with remote starter and other settings. Honda uses an impressive 124.9cc, fuel injected engine with 4-speed semi-automatic gearbox on this newcomer.
The scooter generates max. power and max. torque of 9.5 HP and 10.4 NM respectively. Suspension duties are handled by 26mm telescopic forks and twin rear shocks while braking is handled by 220mm front disc and rear drum brake. The front tire used here is 70/90-17 while rear measures 80/90-17. ABS comes as standard on Super Cub C125.
The lower than usual seat height further helps in feather-light maneuvering around the city. Just like a smart car, Super Cub C125 features electric seat opening option. The alloy wheels are wrapped with tubeless tires while front and rear fender seem inspired from big cruisers bikes. Super Cub C125 just looks more than a normal step-through.
