According to recent reports, the 2020 Honda Grom 125 has been recently revealed by the brand in selected markets. Also known across the world as Honda MSX 125, the MY2020 variant of the motorcycle has only been imparted cosmetic changes while the mechanical bits remain the same.
The brand has officially awarded the Grom 125 with four new colour schemes namelyIncredible Green, Blue Raspberry, Halloween Orange, and Cherry Red, specifically designed to add to its cosmetic appeal and make it desirable for the younger audience. The fun-size motorcycle has been specifically imparted the desired design language to make it stand out among the rest though the brand has offered it all the similar bits when compared to a regular motorcycle.
The 2020 Honda Grom 125 features an LED headlight set up at the front while the rear has been mated to a decent tail light setup mated to turn indicators. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with an all-digital instrument cluster while adding to its overall profile is the multi-spoke alloy wheels setup.
Powering the MY2020 variant of the Honda Grom 125 is the same 124.9cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 9.7 HP and a peak torque of 10.9Nm. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed transmission. The suspension duties on the fun motorcycle variant are handled by 31mm USD forks at the front which are the smallest diameter forks ever offered to a motorcycle variant. The wheelbase of the Grom 125 stands at 1,100mm while the seat height is measured at 762mm.
The 2020 Honda Grom 125 is expected to be launched in the international markets soon while the brand has not yet revealed any information on the Indian launch of the motorcycle as of yet. Even though the motorcycle was spotted testing on the Indian roads a few years ago, the India launch seems to be rather impossible considering the recent discontinuation of the Honda Navi, the motorcycle that lies in the same vicinity of the Grom 125.
