2022 Honda Rebel 250 S Edition Makes Official Debut in Japan

The 2022 Honda Rebel 250 S Edition finally made its debut in Japan recently. It has been added as an entry-level model to the current portfolio of cruiser bikes like the Rebel 300, Rebel 500, and Rebel 1100. The Rebel 250 S comes painted in the new Pearl Spencer Blue colour in the global market. The bike is decked up with a dark blue metallic colour that is visible on the fuel tank and rear fender. The remaining parts, like the engine, gearbox assembly, and hardware configuration, are painted black.

While looking further at the styling of this cruiser, the top variant also comes with diamond-stitched split-style seats, a headlamp cowl and fork gaiters as standard equipment. However, the standard variant is still offered in the matte grey shade and tan brown seats.

Talking about some other notable highlights, these include circular rearview mirrors, a round headlamp and a dumpy rear fender. No other changes have been witnessed. When it comes to available features, the new cruiser comes equipped with all LED lighting with a quad projector headlight and a fully digital round-shaped instrument console.

Moreover, another prominent aspect is the 249cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 25.6 bhp and 22 Nm of maximum torque and is coupled with a 6-speed transmission. Suspension duties are taken care of by standard telescopic forks on both the rear and front ends. In addition, the bike comes equipped with a dual-channel ABS system.

As far as its India launch is concerned, the new 250cc cruiser doesn’t seem to enter the Indian markets too soon, but the brand can bring the Rebel 500 into the country at the beginning of 2022, though. While it is not an official confirmation by Honda, we need to wait for the next update by the company.
