BS4 Honda Bikes and Scooters Available with Special Offers: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced special offers for the buyers with savings of up to INR 10,000 to clear the stock of its BS4 models.
The brand has already begun with the transition of its products to BS6 with the launch of the updated Activa 125 in September last year. After that, the company also launched all-new SP 125 and recently they introduced Activa 6G. The Dio scooter has also been teased by the brand which will be launched with a BS6-compliant engine soon.
Mr Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and India said – “Currently, customers can still choose between BS-IV and BS-VI models. However, with every passing day, BS-IV stock is depleting. For customers looking for best deals on BS-IV vehicles, this is the time to buy as a limited period offers up to Rs. 10,000 savings are available.”
The company has not specified particular products that would fall under this offer while the brand has already confirmed that Honda Navi and the Cliq would not be upgraded to comply with BS6 emission norms, which means that they would be discontinued after 31st March 2020.
However, Honda Navi will continue to to be manufactured for export. The BS6 vehicles by the brand are delivering promising sales figures. Last month, HMSI was able to register a sales figure of 4,03,383 units that includes domestic sales of 3,74,091 units and export sales of 29,292 units.
Talking about the sales performance, Mr Guleria added – “By January 2020 end, Honda’s BS-VI production increased to 60% of its total business volume and beginning February 2020 we are achieving 100% transition to BS-VI production. Our new BS-VI launches have received a good response, and we are witnessing increased walk-ins’ at our network.”
