Honda Activa 5G is now official. The most selling scooter of India is now in its fifth generation and comes with front LED headlight as an update over 4G.
Apart from that, it offers two exclusive shades named Pearl Spartan Red and Dazzle Yellow Metallic. Honda has made minor changes to overall styling while instrument console now gets updated with new digital display for values other than speedometer readings.
Honda has updated the locking mechanism with 4 in 1 option from which users can unlock the seat. Apart from that, everything else remains exactly the same as Activa 4G.
The bestseller is powered by a 109.2cc, single cylinder air cooled engine producing 8 BHP at 7500 rpm and 9 Nm at 5500 rpm. Buyers will get the most refined automatic gearbox on offer presently in the Indian scooter segment.
As most design lines remain exactly the same, Honda may claim the same dimensions with identical seat height and ground clearance. Activa sells more than 2 lakh units every month and rivals scooters like Jupiter and Maestro Edge in India. Using LED lights and digital display has once again helped them claim the most feature loaded scooter tag of this segment.
